Gingerbread House Party Saturday, December 5, 10 am to noon
Don’t forget to join us on Saturday, December 5 from 10 am to noon in Fellowship Hall to decorate gingerbread houses. If you have not yet reserved your gingerbread house, please contact Leslie Barnes to see if there are any still available.
Coffee with the Pastor
You’re invited to “Coffee with the Pastor” this Sunday, December 6 at 9:30 am in the Gathering Space. There, you will have the opportunity to discover more about Faith Des Peres and get answers to questions about what it means to be Presbyterian in a friendly and fun environment while also meeting some great people. If you’ve already attended a “Coffee with the Pastor” and are interested in joining the church, we plan on accepting new members during worship on December 20. The next “Coffee with the Pastor” is January 10 at 9:30. Questions? Ask Pastor Annie or Cat Trotter.

Christmas Giving Tree Return Celebration
Christmas Giving tree gifts are due this Sunday. Please bring your gifts or gift cards (with the ornament attached) to church by Sunday. Then stay after church for a light lunch Christmas party. We will have catered food from Daily Bread Café and plenty of sweets to enjoy as well.
Presbyterian Women Cookie Exchange December 11, 9:30am
The annual Presbyterian Women’s brunch and cookie exchange will be on Friday,December 11 at 9:30 am. Charlotte Ridley will be hosting. Bring 2-3 dozen cookies to exchange. Please RSVP to Charlotte at 314-821-8524 or email Yolanda at adminasst@faithdesperes.org
Parents Day Out Saturday, December 12 11:00am to 3:00pm
Parents, for only $10.00 per child you can get 4 hours of babysitting by our teens here at the church. Sign up in the Gathering Space by December 10. If you have any questions speak to Annie or Beth Willock.
Christmas Eve Service, 5:30 pm
Join us for Christmas Eve worship at 5:30 pm Thursday, December 24. We’ll have a traditional candlelight service. Sing the carols, hear the stories and find hope here!
Christmas Brunch and Worship, December 27
Join us for a special Christmas Brunch and worship service on Sunday, December 27 at 10:30. This special service will take place in the Gathering Space where we’ll eat and worship and focus on the new year. It’s for all ages and will include the Christmas carols we love and some exercises to get us thinking about things we want to leave behind or take on in the new year. This is also a potluck! So, please sign-up in the Gathering Space and let us know what dish you’ll bring. Thank you! (There is no nursery care or Sunday School this day. Everyone is encouraged to worship together!)
Save-the-Date - Presbyterian Women's Retreat, Saturday, January 9
