We encourage you to worship with us on Sunday at 10:30 am to get an idea of how the church looks, hear the acoustics, meet the Pastor, and hear the pipe organ and/or piano being played. 

Old Des Peres Church

• Seats around 60 people comfortably

• Best for a small ceremony or vow renewal

• Historic setting means weddings parties often take advantage of amenities like bathrooms, parking, and private spaces at our Clayton Road location, then travel the short distance to the small church via hired bus/van

If your date and time are available, contact the church office to verify. Can a non-member get married at Faith Des Peres?

Yes, the members of Faith Des Peres are pleased to share the sanctuaries of the Clayton Road Church and Old Des Peres Church with those in the community who wish to make their vows in a church.  We will work with you to make your wedding ceremony a meaningful part of your celebration.

I would love to get married at your church, but I would like my own pastor to conduct the ceremony. Is that possible?

The pastor of Faith Des Peres Presbyterian Church officiates for all weddings at either FDP location. If you have specific concerns, you should discuss those directly with the pastor. Email the church office and we'll put you in touch with the pastor. 

What type of approval process do I need to go through?

All weddings need to be approved by the Pastor and the Session of Faith Des Peres, which ordinarily meets the third Thursday of every odd month. You must have a first conversation with the Pastor before it is taken before Session. Again, if you have specific concerns, you may discuss them directly with the Pastor.  Email the church office and we'll put you in touch with the pastor. 

How much does it cost to get married at Faith Des Peres? 

These fees are currently under review. Email the church office and we'll put you in touch with the Pastor for the current fee information. The cost for a wedding at Faith Des Peres Church, whether you get married at the Clayton Road (main) Church or the Old Des Peres Church (Geyer Road) is the same. It is an all-inclusive payment, providing for the cost of the facility, the pastor, music director/organist, wedding coordinator and the cleaning service. 

When are payments due?

The initial non-refundable deposit is due immediately after meeting with the Pastor in order to reserve the church. The balance will be due no later than 21 days before the ceremony. You may request to pay the balance in installments.
