Welcome, Miriam Foltz

It is an honor and a pleasure to welcome Rev. Foltz as our guest minister Sunday and again December 9th. Rev. Miriam Foltz is Pastor of UKirk - St. Louis, the Presbyterian Campus Ministry at Washington University and St. Louis University. UKirk, or "university church," gathers on Sunday evenings for  dinner & worship at Trinity Presbyterian and also for mid-week, on-campus Bible study gatherings, fellowship events, and more. While officially serving these two campuses, UKirk is a community that strives to support students around St. Louis - including welcoming in college students from other area schools - and to support students from St. Louis who go to school elsewhere - through events and conference opportunities during winter & summer breaks. Pastor Foltz lives in the Central West End with her husband, Steven, and two cats, Lewis & Clark.

Thank you, Rev. Foltz, for being with us and sharing the good news.

Christmas Giving Tree Project

We have adopted families from Lydia's House and Southside Early Childhood Center. In November members chose ornaments of gifts to be purchased for the families we adopted. Please bring your purchased gifts and gift cards to the church Sunday. We will bless these items in preparation for delivery to the agencies that week. Gifts should not be wrapped. However, we would appreciate any donations of gift wrap. Please attach the ornament to your gift or gift card to help us keep track of items purchased. Contact Judy Sisson, Sandy Williams, Angie Hiner or Erica Abbett for additional details.

The Gate at the Foot of the Stairs

We are suggesting that when you enter the sanctuary or the gathering space you use the upper level entrances at the front of the church or the staircase that is at the east end of the lower level. The gate at the west staircase, which is in place for child safety purposes for Harper School, makes it somewhat difficult and risky to use those stairs as access to the  sanctuary and gathering space on the second level.

Our FDP team, joined with over 2000 people from our region, packaged over 470,664 meals on 11/2!  These meals are distributed by St. Louis Area Foodbank and the Outreach Program to organizations that work to alleviate hunger both locally and worldwide.  This impactful, inspiring event was enjoyed by all, and we hope to participate again next year!
