Faith Des Peres Presbyterian Church

The Faith Des Peres Choir presented, "In My Place: Remembering Christ's Sacrifice of Love" as a special musical presentation during Lent. 

Cathy Woelbling-Paul, adjunct oboe professor at Webster University and Lindenwood University, was a guest musician during our Choir Cantata on April 6, 2014 as the Faith Des Peres choir, led by Dr. Gay Spears, presented, "In My Place: Remembering Christ's Sacrifice of Love."

We began the Palm Sunday processional outside on April 13, 2014.

On Palm Sunday, April 13th, Faith Des Peres welcomed Christine (Chris) Sasse as guest violinist, instructor of applied violin at Washington University.

The Worship Arts Committee sponsored an agape meal. Loosely based on the Jewish Seder meal, this service began with a simple dinner around tables in Faith Des Peres' Gathering Space. Towards the end of the meal, we moved into a worship service that focused on Jesus' final meal with the disciples and a reading of the Passion Story. The Faith Des Peres choir joined us, singing and an anthem entitled, "Thy Will Be Done."

Pastor Annie Epling opened the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Old Des Peres Church with a prayer. 

Faith Des Peres was pleased to welcome Brass Quartet members Lucas Alberts, Chris Kepley, Doug Luke, and Andy Schiefelbein as guest musicians on Easter Sunday.
