You belong at Faith Des Peres
Join us on Sunday and experience a community where everyone is welcomed with open arms. As you step into our beautiful sanctuary, you'll be inspired by soaring ceilings, uplifting worship, and exceptional music that enriches the spirit and invites reflection. While our congregation is small enough to feel personal and connected, you'll quickly discover a community rich in friendship, compassion, and genuine care. Whether you're seeking hope, searching for purpose, or longing for a place to belong, you'll find a warm welcome and meaningful connections at Faith Des Peres.
When should I arrive?
We worship every Sunday at 10:30 am at the Clayton Road location (main church). On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate the Sacrament of Communion with an open table. Children attend worship for the first 10-15 minutes before leaving for Disciples Gathering the second and fourth Sundays. They otherwise attend worship for the entire service.
Where is Faith Des Peres located?
Faith Des Peres is located on the north side of Clayton Road, midway between Ballas Road and Lindbergh Boulevard. A map can be found here.
If you're coming from I-64/40, take the Spoede Road exit, go south on Spoede. Turn right (west) onto Clayton. Go through the stoplight at Geyer Road. Then look for us on the right (north) side of the road. You should walk right in our front door on Sunday morning and say hello!
Where can I park? Is Faith Des Peres accessible?
Some parking is located in front of the church, but the main parking lot is located behind the church. There is a handicapped accessible entrance and parking on the west side of the building. To get to the sanctuary, you may use the doors on the east side of the church marked "church entrance" or the front doors.
What should I expect during your service?
Our services seek to worship God in many ways: through praise, prayer, song, sermon and sacrament. There is an informal formality to our worship service. The basic order of our service remains largely the same each week, yet within that familiar framework there is variety and innovation. We worship with our head and heart. We respect tradition but embrace change. You'll find a worship service that is warm, welcoming and thoughtful. If you're tired of hearing the same old answers to the same old questions, give us a try.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code here. Our members dress comfortably. For some, this is their “Sunday best” while others prefer simple, casual clothes. Dress as you like.
Can I watch your services online?
Faith Des Peres does offer a livestream service, which is a convenient way to check out what we’re all about. You can watch us on our Facebook page or visit us on YouTube. Be sure to drop your name in the chat and say hello!
Doesn’t Faith Des Peres have a second building?
We are a church deeply rooted in tradition. Our Old Des Peres Church dates back to 1833 and symbolizes our rich history, but our worship services are held at our main building – Faith Des Peres Presbyterian Church – on the north side of Clayton Road, midway between Ballas Road and Lindbergh Boulevard. A map can be found here.
Worship is held at the Clayton Road (main) Church, with the exception of Sundays close to the dates of Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day, when we worship at the Old Des Peres Church. Check our calendar for specifics.
What do you offer children?
Children are an active and vital part of our faith community. We believe that children are not only the church of the future; they are the church of the present, too. We welcome children of all ages in worship, but we understand sometimes they need a space dedicated just for them. We offer a nursery for children who need more room to move and explore than the sanctuary provides. A parent or guardian must stay with any child in the nursery. Our worship is livestreamed, so you can connect with worship while your little one plays.
