DIY: A Faith of Your Own But Not On Your Own
Few Christians arrive at a set of beliefs that they can set in stone for the rest of their lives. What we believe evolves in response to insights into the Bible, the Christian tradition, questions and changes in life circumstances, or things that happen in the larger world. Faith is a living thing. But sometimes it’s hard to articulate what we believe. The purpose of this sermon series is to help you name a faith of your own.
Buddy Pack Volunteers Needed
he buddy packs program provides weekend meals for 12 students at Tillman Elementary school. There are three different types of volunteer opportunities for this school year. We need two volunteers to pack the food in bags, every week after church. We need one volunteer a week (on either Thursday or Friday) to deliver the food to Tillman Elementary School in Kirkwood. Finally, we need one volunteer a month to unpack the food and stock it in the buddy packs closet. You can sign up with the links below.

Advent Devotion Book 2015
It’s hard to believe but it’s time to start thinking about Advent. Two years ago, the Worship Arts Committee started publishing an Advent devotion book to give people the opportunity to connect more fully with the church and to provide a worship guide to be used at home during the week. If you would like to submit a short (250 words or less) devotion and prayer for the book, please let Annie know. Submissions are due November 1.
