Dear Faith Des Peres Church Family,
This Sunday is our annual GO! Sunday worship and day of service. Coffee and donuts will be available in the Gathering Space at 9:45 a.m. We will then have a brief commissioning service at 10:00 a.m. before heading out to serve. Sounds like the weather is going to cooperate for the outdoor service projects, too. Yay! Please wear your blue Faith Des Peres T-shirts, and we will plan to take a group picture of all participants as well.
Looking ahead, our church is again serving as a host site for the St. Louis Storytelling Festival on Friday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome. Fliers with more information are available on our Faith Des Peres website and in the Gathering Space.
Friday Foodies is also back, gathering at Canyon Café on Friday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.
And there will be lots of activities for you and your family before, during and after worship on Sunday, May 5. The last PALS gathering of the school year will be at 9:30 a.m. with a special guest from the Marion Medical Mission. The last Disciples Gathering of the school year will follow the young people’s message during worship. And we will hear presentations from two of our Centers during worship as well.
And looking even further ahead, on Sunday, May 19 we will recognize this year’s graduates and will present Bibles to our fourth graders.
