A Safety/Active Shooter Workshop offered by the Department of Homeland Security and J.R. Green Insurance Services is being offered on Thursday, May 2 for Presbyterian churches and organizations in the Presbytery of Giddings-Lovejoy. The workshop will be held at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This will be an opportunity for churches to review or develop a “plan of action” and learn more about providing training to employees and members and working with local police and fire department personnel. There is no fee to attend the workshop, at which lunch and materials will be provided.
